Blizzard Sign Linebacker Andre White Jr. For The 2026 Season

The Green Bay Blizzard have officially signed linebacker Andre White Jr. for the 2026 season.

The linebacker from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is back with the Blizz. Andre White Jr. spent his rookie season with the Green Bay Blizzard. The 2025 Eastern Conference Champion is six-foot-three-inches tall and 230 pounds. White's success at each level may give the Blizzard another boost headed into week 14 action.

Before joining the Blizzard, White played linebacker for Texas A&M from 2019 to 2022. In 40 games, he had 139 total tackles, five and a half sacks, 10.5 tackles for loss, one interception, seven passes defended, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. During his time with Texas A&M, the team won the Orange Bowl (2020) and Texas Bowl (2019). Then, as a graduate transfer, the linebacker played one final season with Georgia Tech in 2023. He finished with 24 total tackles, two and a half sacks, two and a half tackles for loss, and one forced fumble. After another great year, White was invited to the New York Giants Rookie Mini-Camp.

In 2025, White signed with the Green Bay Blizzard midseason. During his rookie campaign, he had 94 tackles in nine games, or an average of 10.4 tackles per game, which was fourth-most in the IFL. He added one sack, six and a half tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one interception, and three pass breakups. White was named the Week 9 IFL Defensive Player of the Week. His success continued as the Blizzard won the 2025 Eastern Conference Championship and advanced to its first-ever IFL Championship game.

White starts year two at an important point in the season as the Eastern Conference #1 seed, Jacksonville Sharks, visit the Green Bay Blizzard this Friday. Winning the game would push the Blizzard back into the #1 seed. Last time the Sharks were at the Resch Center, White had a great game, leading the team in total tackles (14) and adding one sack, two tackles for loss, and one pass breakup in a win.
