Brodarius Lewis joins the Green Bay Blizzard from Prattville, Alabama. He is a first-year IFL defensive lineman, standing at 6-foot-1-inches and 285 pounds. The versatile lineman may have an immediate impact on the field as the Blizzard has positioned itself as one of the top-ranked teams in the IFL near the midpoint of the 2026 season.
Jones College is where Lewis began his collegiate career. Jones College is a public community college in Lewis's home state, Mississippi. In 2020 and 2021, Lewis appeared in 15 games, starting in 14, totaling 57 tackles, five and a half tackles for loss, and three and a half sacks. For his great play, he was named to the MACCC All-Conference South Second Team in 2021 before transferring to Southern Miss.
Then, from 2022 to 2025, Lewis played for the University of Southern Mississippi. As a member of the Golden Eagles, he recorded 122 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, five and a half sacks, and five pass deflections in 39 games played. In his senior season, Lewis was an honorable mention to receive All-Sun Belt Conference Honors.
The Green Bay Blizzard are 6-1 as Lewis joins the team. The defensive line has been playing well. They are top ten in the IFL in sacks, and they provided momentum-shifting plays in an important Eastern Conference win last week. Now, they will get a boost from Brodarius Lewis, who joins fresh from college, where he helped his team rank fifth in the conference in sacks. Lewis gets his first chance to play professional football on May 8, Star Wars Night with the Green Bay Blizzard.
