Blizzard Sign Linebacker Brian Horn For The 2026 Season
The Green Bay Blizzard have officially signed linebacker Brian Horn for the 2026 season.
Brian Horn is a linebacker with one year of IFL experience. He calls Columbia, South Carolina, home. The 2026 season will be Horn's first with the Green Bay Blizzard. However, at six feet tall and 225 pounds, Horn has the size and experience to bolster any defense.
From 2019 to 2023, Horn played for The Citadel, a military college in South Carolina that competes in Division I of the NCAA. Through those years, the Bulldog made a bullish impact through 57 games, recording 175 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, seven pass deflections, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries. He became known as a leader on the field, and professional teams noticed.
Following his final collegiate season, Horn signed with the Bay Area Panthers for the 2025 IFL season. Later, he would suit up for the San Antonio Gunslingers. In three games with the Gunslingers, Horn tallied 12.5 tackles and two pass breakups. That season, the linebacker learned the indoor game and prepared himself for the following season.
The next step of Horn's playing career lies with the Blizzard. A battle with the Iowa Barnstormers is looming, so the linebacker's skills will be tested soon. This game is the second matchup of the season for the rivaling teams, and the first Green Bay home game in nearly one month. Fans eagerly await the game, as does Green Bay's latest defensive addition. Horn will have his first chance to play with the team on April 18 at the Resch Center.
