The Green Bay Blizzard defeated the Quad City Steamwheelers in dramatic fashion at the Resch Center on Friday night with a final score of Blizzard 53 and the Steamwheelers 47.

The Steamwheelers came back to score on a 4-yard run by Zavier Steward. The extra point was missed and the Blizzard maintained a 2 point advantage.
With only 1 minute to play, the Blizzard scored on Keshaun Taylor’s second pass from Footman. A bad snap on the extra point left the score Green Bay 47 and Quad City 39. The Steamwheelers then scored again with only 43 seconds left on the clock. They went for the 2 point conversion, which they missed but got a second chance after a holding penalty on the Blizzard. This time they converted to tie the score at 47.
