• As a freshman in 2005, Hill played in all 11 games to earn his first letter and started in three games—He was named to the College Football News and Rivals.com Freshman All-America Second Teams—He ranked second on the team in rushing and first on the team with 5.1 yards per rush—He ranked fifth on the team in pass receiving—He was ranked 23rd in the nation with an 11.1 yards-per-punt average—Hill had Ball State individual game highs for the season with 24 rushes and 170 yards rushing at WMU—He was named co-recipient of Ball State’s John Hodge award as the team’s most outstanding freshman—He returned a punt 54 yards for a TD vs. Akron, had a career-high five receptions at Boston College and a season-best 34 receiving yards at Eastern Michigan
