The Slaughter come into the game riding a two game win streak as they defeated the Blizzard 50-41 two weeks ago and they routed the Texas Revolution 51-26 last week on St. Patrick's Day. The Luck of the Irish was with the Slaughter defense as they intercepted Texas four times, returning two for touchdowns. The Slaughter outscored the Revolution 33-0 from late in the second quarter to the start of the fourth. Led by LB Ameer Ismail, who earned IFL Defensive Player of the Week honors, the Slaughter defense leads the IFL in defensive touchdowns with three and also lead the league in sacks with 11.

Last game vs the Blizzard the Slaughter offense led by QB Cody Kirby and RB Daniel Dufrene combined to rush for 102 yards and six touchdowns. Chicago has developed a deadly rushing attack led by RB Daniel Dufrene, and quarterbacks Cody Kirby and Juice Williams. The Slaughter lead the league in rushing with 380 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The Blizzard come into the game having lost three games in a row for the first time since late 2010. Despite holding the Colorado Ice to just 24 points last week the Blizzard offense could not put points on the board as drives stalled due to miscues and incomplete passes. The Blizzard will look to their past 3-1 all-time record vs Chicago in Green Bay as a guide to pick up their first victory of he 2013 season. Head Coach Robert Fuller will lean on quarterback Donvan Porterie, who leads the IFL in passing yards with 521 to help an offense that ranks 7th in the IFL averaging 34 points per game. RB Levell Coppage had his biggest game of the season last week as he rushed for 56 yards and caught four passes.

On defense newly signed players such as Kenny Viser and James McClinton, who both played with Green Bay last season, will look to help reestablish the Blizzard defense as one of the most fearsome in the league.

Screamin' Head Buzz will host the official post-game party of the Blizzard. Join the team after the game and meet all of your favorite players while enjoying food and drink specials.
