Quarterback Donovan Porterie struggled with the passing attack as he completed 6 of 11 passes for 46 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions. He was the only Blizzard player to have multiple receptions. The Blizzard defense held the Steelhawks scoreless for most of the second half before giving up a touchdown near the end of the game. B.J. Hill led the swarming Blizzard defense with six tackles. Aaron Moore had an interception and Kenny Viser made a crucial fumble recovery after stripping the ball away from a Steelhawks player.

White also ran the ball seven times for 34 yards. Sam Bryant led the defense with nine tackles and a forced fumble. The Express already is assured of the first losing season in the franchise's seven-year history and will miss the playoffs for just the second time.
